How to purchase a puppy

There is no application form. It starts with a phone call and ends with you driving home with a dachshund on someone's lap.

Call or text us

Reach us at 479-283-8360. Tell us what you are hoping for: sex, color, coat, and when you want to bring a puppy home. We will be honest about what we have and what is coming.

Put down a deposit

A $300 deposit holds your spot. Picks go in the order deposits are received, and the deposit comes off the final price. Deposits are non-refundable but can move to a future litter if timing changes.

Choose your puppy

Around five weeks, once personalities show, you pick in deposit order. We send photos and videos every week until then, and you are welcome to visit.

Pick up at eight weeks

The balance is due at pick-up. Cash, Venmo, or Zelle. We meet at our home in Northwest Arkansas. Ask about delivery if you are driving a long way.

What comes home with your puppy

  • Vet exam with a signed health certificate
  • First round of shots and a deworming schedule, dated and written down
  • AKC limited registration paperwork
  • One-year genetic health guarantee, in writing
  • A bag of the food the puppy is used to, plus a blanket that smells like mom and littermates
  • Our phone number, for as long as you have the dog

Health guarantee

The short version.

Every puppy is guaranteed against life-threatening genetic conditions for one year from the date it goes home. If your vet diagnoses one, we will replace the puppy with one from a future litter or refund the purchase price, your choice.

Take your puppy to your own vet within 72 hours of pick-up. That visit is what activates the guarantee, and it is good practice anyway.

The guarantee does not cover things that happen after you take the puppy home, like injuries, parasites, or issues caused by diet.
